These terms
RSVPplease is operated by Moneta Lend of New South Wales, Australia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RSVPplease.
What the service does
RSVPplease lets you create an invitation, add guests, and collect RSVPs. Sharing each guest's personal RSVP link is free. You can optionally pay per event to have us text the invitations, chase guests who have not replied, and record their replies.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction to be a host.
Pricing and payment
- Sharing RSVP links is free, with no card required.
- SMS for a party costs US$10, covering up to 10 guests, then US$1 per additional guest.
- It is charged per event, not as a subscription — there is nothing to cancel.
- Adding guests after paying only ever costs $1 per new guest beyond your first 10 — never a second base fee.
- Guests never pay anything.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change, but a change never affects an event you have already paid for.
Refunds
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, if we fail to deliver messages you have paid for because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will refund that event.
How you may use it
You must only add guests you have a genuine reason to contact about your event, and you must have their details legitimately. You must not use RSVPplease to send marketing, bulk unsolicited messages, or anything unlawful, misleading, abusive or harassing, and you must honour opt-out requests.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may be required to report serious misuse to our messaging providers or authorities.
Content you add
You keep ownership of your event details, messages and photos. You give us permission to store and display that content for the purpose of running your event and showing it to your guests. Do not upload content you have no right to use. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
Availability
We work to keep RSVPplease running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and delivery of SMS and email depends on carriers and providers we do not control. Occasional maintenance may interrupt access.
Liability
RSVPplease is a tool for collecting RSVPs — it is not a guarantee that any guest will reply or attend. To the extent permitted by law, and other than for rights that cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the event the claim relates to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute.
